BotGDX collects all your video games in one place. Nowadays, more and more games are available in different game launcher programs, and this annoys a lot of people. That's why we created BotGDX. Just a game launcher with lots of features and personalization.
BotGDX supports a wide range of game sources, including Steam games, UWP (Universal Windows Platform) and Win32. This compatibility ensures that users can easily add and manage their games, regardless of their origin.
BotGDX uses database capabilities RAWG.io Allowing users to get important information about the game, such as the cover, release dates and descriptions, directly in the launcher. This integration enhances user experience by providing valuable context for each game.
With the BotGDX profile feature, users can create multiple profiles, each tailored to a specific set of games or preferences. This makes it easy to switch between different game settings or genres without having to manually reorganize.
BotGDX allows users to personalize their launcher with a variety of themes, allowing them to choose a visual style that suits their gaming aesthetic. Themes give a new look to the launcher and improve the overall gaming atmosphere.
Game organization makes it easier to add game tags. Users can assign their own tags to their games, such as genres or game styles, which provides fast and intuitive navigation through the game library.
BotGDX offers users various options to view their collection of games. These include "Recent" for recently played games, "List" for a detailed overview, and "Tags" for grouping games based on assigned tags. This flexibility allows users to choose the view that best suits their needs.
The new version of BotGDX will increase the requirements for the processor, data transfer speed, memory, operating system version, instructions, video card and all system requirements in general. And also these requirements will be applicable for our game. Starting with version 2.0.x, the system requirements for the launcher and the game will be increased. Now our game and launcher will require:
- Processor at least Intel Pentium™-G640, AMD-Athlon™ X4, nothing has changed to the Arm platform yet.m yet. All processors MUST support 64-bit computing.
- Now the priority is given to the development of the application on different platforms.forms. From this moment on, the priority is directed to development for Windows 11, as for Windows 10, now the only build on which the application will work is 22H2, both on IoT versions and on LTSB/LTSC.
- The Internet speed should be at least 10MB/s for comfortable downloading ofing of games. And also the network standard should be at least Wi-Fi 3 (802.11g).
- Instructions.tions. Now some instructions will be required. This is due to the fact that we will add even more animations, visuals and functions. Instructions required to run: SSSE3, AES, AVX.
- Minimum memory type: DDR2, 4-8GB of of memory.
- Video cards.cards. Now, at least for a comfortable game, you will need a video card of at least GTX780 Ti.
